The value of having an "all-the-time gun" for personal defense that is always on you is obvious.

The Seecamp .32 and .380 pocket pistols are small and light enough to carry all the time.

Dr. Bruce Eimer of Personal Defense Solutions (www.PersonalDefenseSolutions.net) is a psychologist, author, gun writer and NRA Certified Firearms Trainer, who conducts concealed carry classes to educate regular folks about effective concealed carry techniques, and also to help them obtain the Florida Non-resident Concealed Carry Weapons Permit which is valid for concealed carry in 27 states.

Bruce trains his concealed carry students to remember to ALWAYS be armed. One of his mottos is "Whatever else you do or don't do, don't leave home without your drivers license, credit card, keys, CCW permit, and your pistol."

He tells his students that "the little reliable gun with the powerful punch (the Seecamp) leaves little excuse for not being carried at all times. The littler the gun the littler the excuse for not carrying it. The essence of concealed carry is that no one but you has a clue you're armed. And if your "all-the-time gun" is very easy to comfortably conceal
100%, you can carry it all the time with complete confidence."

Bruce also points out in his classes that, "It may be a point of decision, what gun am I going to carry today, based on wardrobe requirements. However, you may not always need a 'cannon'  for personal defense, but you do need something. It's great if you have the discipline to always carry your 9mm or .40 caliber high capacity Glock, or your favorite .45, but if you don't, you may end up not deciding and leaving home without your hand cannon. At least if you have your 'Always Seecamp' on you, you are still armed.

An important point to acknowledge is that if we know we're not going to be able to avoid a fight for our lives today, we would carry our rifles. ALL handguns are compromises. They are less effective than rifles and we cannot carry our rifles or shotguns with us most of the time. If you're going to be in a fight for your life, it's most likely going to be at really close quarters. So, have your 'always gun' on you always, and if you are motivated, let your 'always gun' be your back-up, or your first line of personal defense, to your 'big gun'."
